Emergency Aid Centre and Police guaranteed the race’s safety

Almost all of its forces provided the Traffic Police Department of Ioannina in order to respond to the needs of the 30km race, while the assistance of the other Police Departments was equally valuable.

Police officers spread thought the route and, in collaboration with the Ioannina Lake Run volunteers, guaranteed the runners’ safety. Furthermore, two police tow trucks moved away many parked vehicles alongside the route.

Also crucial was the help of Emergency Aid Centre that provided two ambulances and two motorcycles for the races’ needs. The ambulances were located in the starting/finishing line and in the 20th kilometer while the motorcycles were constantly moving throughout the course.
